I read it and thought "Huh sounds like too perfect of a rant to go cutting down!" So glad to see it in its entirety!

Doesn't it feel good to let it all out when so aggravated with a book? I really let it all out recently on a beloved book in print that was destroyed by the narrator in audio. If I have to skip half the book to enjoy it then it's not worth the read for me -- and I agree with you, that's what I was doing. Plus, in the last book I read by her, her description of one sex scene took 11 pages. Just one scene! That was it for me. :(

That was reading, I can't imagine listening to it.Hilciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17765831808358693421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2480569708975020177.post-65254011656077802982012-02-09T12:38:58.859+10:302012-02-09T12:38:58.859+10:30@Chris - definitely!

It was better than the book had to be.

I tried listening to a Gena Showalter book once (I think that was it) and I couldn't handle the love scenes (plus hated the heroine). I remember literally flinging it into the backseat of my car in disgust. If you have Adobe reader with the voice feature, that's always a riot to listen to it read a love scene.Tamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15495571402942021799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2480569708975020177.post-43572215035359976032012-02-09T12:09:05.140+10:302012-02-09T12:09:05.140+10:30*makes warding signs to keep wandering Stephanie L...*makes warding signs to keep wandering Stephanie Laurens audiobooks away*Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12959009113795804133noreply@blogger.com
